Missing packages

I'm a new Solus user and i was thinking about a way to install some packages which aren't in the repository. For example i can't find tlpui package or cpupower-gui. Is there any way to install those packages?

giovanni cpupower is available as cli, but you have to install linux-tools-cpupower.
There isn't cpupower-gui at the moment.
You can try to compile it from source following the instructions here: https://github.com/vagnum08/cpupower-gui

giovanni About tlpui there are some instructions to install it as flatpak here:

I don't use these programs and can't say if they will work as expected.

Hey cpupower is in the Software centre. just open it and do a search for it

giovanni It means that you have to use it on terminal.

$ cpupower --help
Usage:	cpupower [-d|--debug] [-c|--cpu cpulist ] <command> [<args>]
Supported commands are:
	frequency-info
	frequency-set
	idle-info
	idle-set
	set
	info
	monitor
	help

Not all commands can make use of the -c cpulist option.

Use 'cpupower help <command>' for getting help for above commands.

giovanni In this case yes. If you want the graphical program cpupower-gui then you have to compile it as I posted before. If you have no idea how to compile then you can request it here, and if it is accepted maybe someone will package it and make it available in Sotfware Center.
