Harvey Ran both commands, this is the output of them. After running these I tried doflicky again and black screen again. I've also tried to manually install just the latest kernel from the solus software manager and after rebooting inxi -F says I'm still on the 5.10.12-171 kernel. So apparently for some reason my system does not switch to the newest kernel despite it being installed and I'm not getting a menu when booting that lets me select the kernel like I do on other distros.
