pnbalaji1974 Support for NMVE drivers/firmware are an upstream (kernel) issue. Some recent editions of the kernel had a history of conflict with the firmware installed on some NVME drives. For that reason, Solus 4.2 was delayed until kernel 5.10 was released. Kernel 5.10 (and subsequent) supposedly resolved those issues.
The issue you are having with Solus 4.2 but not having with Ubuntu Mate might be related. The current version of Solus 4.2 uses 5.11. Ubuntu Mate uses 5.4 (20.04 local) or 5.8 (20.10 groovy). If you are using either 20.04 or 20.10, the kernel edition is different, and the difference between Ubuntu Mate and Solus with respect to the NVME might be a result of that difference.
As a general rule, Intel does a good job of making sure that the kernel has good drivers, but you might consider updating the firmware installed on your NVME drive, using Windows to update the firmware. Your SSD was released in 2019 and the firmware seems to have been updated since then. I set up a dozen or so computers every year, and I've found that "new" doesn't necessarily mean that the most recent drivers/firmware are installed on the computer out of the box (usually not as a matter of fact). It might be worth checking and updating if newer firmware is available.
I'm not familiar with HP Support for driver/firmware updating, but I assume that you could find the appropriate firmware updates for your drive through HP Support. If not, the page you referenced points you to (see "Drivers and Downloads" at the bottom of the page) an "Intel SSD Firmware Update Tool" that might/should** allow you to update to the latest firmware.
============
** As noted by Intel on the firmware update tool page, "If you purchased your Intel SSD from an OEM, your firmware version may have a different naming. Contact your local OEM representative for latest firmware revisions." That's why I suggest trying to install the firmware update through HP Support before resorting to the Intel tool.
