Will SABnzbd ever be available again via the official repository?

Whilst I have SAB running on my NAS, it's limited to roughly 10MB/s, so I'd would like to run it on my desktop which will max out my connection.

What is the next best to running SAB natively; Snap, or would anyone recommend an alternative?

Nobody took the time to properly support and integrate it, the individual which originally packaged it no longer does so. So unless a new maintainer was to step up, doubtful, and it would undergo review per our Package Inclusion Policy again.

I would recommend you to use the docker image of sabnzbd, works perfectly fine.

WoGGo Or you could learn how to package software for Solus and bring your contribution 🙂

kyrios I would love to, but this is essential my first experience using anything Linux.
It was purely my hatred for Win10 that I sought a Linux OS, and after much research, I chose Solus.
So I doubt I'll be packaging software anytime soon.
