Which Solus'Bureaus will support Bing Image of the Day?

I understand that Bing Image of the Day works with Gnome extension only.
Will it work with Plasma?
(I don't want to use the BingWall app).

philippulus There is variety which downloads wallpapers from Bing and other sites.

philippulus I'd have to think any program that 'gathered' would be downloading them.
If you have 5000 (for example) pics of your own you could rig something offline...

BING is the only option I turn OFF in variety personally (ms tentacles). But you can limit cache if worried about space. It has a few of categories of pic types. Set it to auto start. I know this sounds really shallow but this is one app I can't live without.
Mostly I get NASA's hi-res stuff from chandra, hubble, satellite, mars, time lapse etc. ----Really mind-blowing desktop pics.

Except that the very extension you reference does download the image. There is no such thing as not downloading the image. Even if it was set directly as the wallpaper, it still gets cached by GnomeBG.

The extension you reference downloads it into a BingWallpaper folder in your pictures directory then updates the scheme key/val responsible for the value.

Variety does basically the same thing.
