Hello, continuing with apparmor problems, I'll post some things that I found, probably they can be a clue of the possible problem.
Running sudo usysconf run -f
and a reboot didn't do anything on my side, the problem persist.
I tried the next thing I can do, collecting data, so, maybe It would help.
sudo aa-status
apparmor module is loaded.
13 profiles are loaded.
13 profiles are in enforce mode.

and this:
sudo aa-audit snap
ERROR: Conflicting profiles for syslogd defined in two files:
- /etc/apparmor.d/sbin.syslogd.newconfig
- /etc/apparmor.d/sbin.syslogd
just to confirm, I tried with firefox, the same result:
sudo aa-audit firefox
ERROR: Conflicting profiles for syslogd defined in two files:
- /etc/apparmor.d/sbin.syslogd.newconfig
- /etc/apparmor.d/sbin.syslogd
The content in /etc/apparmor.d/
is:
abi local sbin.syslogd
abstractions lsb_release sbin.syslogd.newconfig
apache2.d nvidia_modprobe sbin.syslog-ng
bin.ping php-fpm sbin.syslog-ng.newconfig
bin.ping.newconfig sbin.klogd tunables
disable sbin.klogd.newconfig usr.lib64.snapd.snap-confine
maybe a misconfiguration? or profile conflict with those .newconfig?, I didn't touched any of them as I reintalled snapd and apparmor several times.
Just to let you know, I tried to reinstall every package in the system with eopkg list-installed | awk '{print $1}' | xargs sudo eopkg it --reinstall
, what this make is list all packages installed in solus and reinstall them, as the process was really big, 3.5GB downloaded packages, I ran sudo usysconf run -f
and rebooted to make sure that all are good, at the end, there's no change with apparmor profile problem:
The error is as follows:
[✗] Compiling and Reloading AppArmor profiles failed
A copy of the command output follows:
Found reference to variable run, but is never declared
failed to update AppArmor profile, reason: exit status 1
It's the only error that I can see, in every update or installation.
By the way I have uno-calculator and I am unable to unisntall it and other snaps too because of apparmor profiles failing to load.
Any update or more info that I could find will be posted her.
