jrsilvey I'm sorry I'm just seeing this comment!
So for work, I was recommended to use Authy by a coworker for OTP, and that's all I used it for. I put in on my work laptop and on my phone, but I work most days from my Linux desktop and it was annoying to have to pull out one of those other devices in order to authenticate to the web service I needed.
That's when I started trying to get Authy to work on my Solus desktop.
When it didn't work, I thought I'd just play around with another OTP software that was opensourced (I think OTPClient is FOSS?). That's when I discovered I could set up multiple OTP softwares and use them all.
Now, if I'm on my desktop I use OTPClient for all my OTP needs, and if I'm on my phone or work laptop, I just use Authy. They all play well together.
