Budgie panel applet size

When I go to Budgie Desktop Settings -> Bottom Panel -> Settings, I can resize the panel.
However, only some of the applets scale with the panel size.
Specifically, the Budgie Menu and Icon Task List scale, while everything else I use doesn't (e.g. Places, System Tray, Status Indicator, Keyboard Layout etc.)

Is it a bug? Has it been reported, and if not, where should I report this? Is there a solution/workaround in the meantime?

YoniV Are you trying to make them bigger or smaller?

algent I'm trying to make them bigger (HiDPI monitor, already set scaling factor to 1.5 if that makes any difference).

I find the clock panel area on Budgie too small for me. I need to strain my eyes to see details. Like George squinting on Seinfeld. But I find no coins.... 😅
