I am buying a printer/scanner/fax. Suggestions?

This is for light/medium office use. I currently have a Brother MCF printer that works okayish with Solus. Took a little work to get working property. I'm looking for something that works great out of the box, print and scan over a network. What options do you recommend?

mbevks I've had good experiences with the HP M225DW multi-function device, although the HP proprietary driver can sometimes be finicky. I use the device under Debian Stable, Debian Unstable, and Solus Budgie.

I'd go HP IF 1)I had an all-in-one and 2)If I could do it all over again. I base this opinion on: at this forum it's the least-complained about, and the least asked about as far as configs.

You can run any printer on Solus....but scanners and linux are like pulling teeth without the anesthetic🙂

brent Yeah, the proprietary plugin I mentioned is for the scanner.

I can't tell a lot about if it fits your needs, but my network connected Epson XP-625 prints and scans perfectly out of the box on solus. I didn't even had to add it manually.
