I also noticed that in the 5.21 release announcement another feature that was advertised is improved Wayland support. I've heard from some other people that KDE Wayland 5.21 is fully ready for daily driving, but I'm yet to test it out. I'm aware that Solus has intentionally disabled the Wayland session for a while, but I'm just wondering whether it's still necessary. Worst case, the user could be given a choice over a wayland or xorg session, so if Wayland is still buggy or whatever then the user can just choose Xorg. Heck, Xorg can probably even be made the default session, while the user is allowed to select Wayland if they're adventurous. Overall I just feel that it's better to not restrict the user's choice.
