Girtablulu Sorry for the vagueness. In hindsight, this was poorly scoped. Questions should be more specific. Even as I contemplate what I am meant to ask, I am getting lost in the weeds.
I have been using Solus for the past few years with Budgie, and recently GNOME; now I am considering moving to KDE. I think my motivation is in wanting to know at a high-level more about how Solus KDE deviates from stock KDE. To know if I am able to simply read the release notes and expect to receive those features or if there are customization or positions that conflict with features from KDE (aside from the obvious ones like Wayland and responsive apps, not trying to dredge these up).
Maybe an example would be hypothetically deprecating the firewall-applet in favor of the newly provided configuration in the system settings, etc.
Yeah, I should just wait for the release and compare the blog to the 5.21 release notes. A skill I need to improve on.
I appreciate your time and effort and certainly don't want to cause a distraction. I am just curious to know any information that would be helpful in better understanding my distribution of choice and in becoming a part of the greater KDE community.
Thank you for your passion and support.
