LibreWolf installation on Solus

Hello guys,

i've recently moved over from Windows and i am not that experienced with Linux at all. Currently i'm trying to improve my privacy on many fronts. That is where i discovered LibreWolf browser as an alternative to Firefox.

However i have no clue how to install it on Solus. Unfortunately i couldn't find it via Snap or Flatpak and the mentioned terminal commands on LibreWolf's webside didn't help either (maybe i'm just to stupid to use the terminal properly, but i couldn't find any tutorials or guides on how to install it on Solus either). 🙁
Is there a way to install LibreWolf on Solus?

maxboy2468 There is the AppImage and Flatpak version did you try them?

LibreWolf-85.0.2-1.x86_64.flatpak
LibreWolf-85.0.2-1.x86_64.AppImage

Edit: Just installed the flatpak version and it is working fine.
First run this command:
flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo
Next log out and the log in.
Download: LibreWolf-85.0.2-1.x86_64.flatpak
and then install:
sudo flatpak install LibreWolf-85.0.2-1.x86_64.flatpak

maxboy2468 interesting, i had never heard of librewolf before, but i have long wanted something like that to exist!

algent Is this a different repo than the default flatpak repo? I was expecting the old XXX.YYY.ZZZ naming thing they do.

brent Yes it is the repository where they have the source code and offer some different builds, for AppImage, flatpak, different linux distros, MacOS and Windows. It is the first time I have installed a flatpak in this way. I think the problem here will be the updates, I don't think they are automatic.
