Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049, love that last one.
ThereΒ΄s more but itΒ΄s what came to my mind first
sorry if the image is too big
Number one for me is Seksmisja - Polish movie created under communist regime. It's a sci-fi comedy with I watched at least 50 times and it's still good
Second is Alien and sequels. It became part of mass culture. The same on second place is Back to Future and sequels. Star Wars 3-6 is there with Mad Max.
Third place would be Fifth Element, Matrix, Contact, Stargate and Mr. Nobody,
nolan I'm not a big fan of (both) Blade Runners, but i like some scenes
nolan sorry if the image is too big
The poster is a little bit HUGE
@JoshStrobl is there a way to resize image or gif?

I like the Matrix movies, Fifth Element, Event Horizon, but they don't come close to my all time favorite. It's a movie, and a show.... Serenity, and the TV series Firefly. I to misbehave. #Browncoat

would gladly watch any day of the week in no particular order:
The Matrix (first one only)
Alien (first one only)
2001/ Kubrick
Clockwork/Kubrick (well not any day..)
ANY Mad Max in this order: Road Warrior, Mad Max. Thunderdome , Fury.
Escape from New York and The Thing (Kurt Russell double feature)
loved 70's relic A Boy and His Dog but can't find anymore
loved 80's relic Liquid Sky but can't find
Sunshine
12 Monkeys (terry gilliam)
and probably hundreds more....
....love spaceship settings, but really love my sci-fi post-apocalyptic
Brucehankins I like the Matrix movies
The Matrix (1999) is one of my favorites! (I don't like sequels)
A.I. Artificial Intelligence (probably one of the first sci-fi that I've watched)
I wish I'd written my answer before I read yours. It would have been the same. Agree 100%.
probably one of the first sci-fi that I've watched
The first one, wow! What about Back to the Future trilogy?
A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001) - like it a lot!
Minority Report (2002) - another cool Steven Spielberg movie
Solarmass it was the best, really mind blowing for the time. What Hackers should have been
laky you should watch Ex Machina. Another one of my favorites, it will really mess you up.

Brucehankins Did you watch The Animatrix (2003) ?
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0328832/
A collection of nine short films featuring stories related to The Matrix (1999).
My favorite stories are: World Record and Program
nolan there's good series too, love dead & robots is one of them in my opinion, Battlestar Galactica (2005) is other, I growup watching it on tv, good times, the tecnology evolution in cgi is awesome.
Yeah, Love, Death & Robots was pretty cool https://www.imdb.com/title/tt09561862/
There are also some awesome sci-fi anime
I'm a massive Star Wars fan.
Solarmass I have not, but I will be now. I'm also a total weeb, so this is right up my alley.
Solarmass
Back to the future takes #1 spot on my list, I just didn't want to mention it two times in same thread.
I'll plan to take a look at all the sci-fi being mentioned here, I love sci-fi movies!
Brucehankins

The Expanse
Couldn't finish the 1st season for some reasons...

Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)
RoboCop (1987)
Solarmass Terminator
Yes, I forgot to mention the Terminator movies (except for the very latest), besides my Star Wars addiction. Good point!

twilight zone
star trek
stargate sg-1
personal favorite: 3rd rock from the sun
The Jetsons
Star Trek Voyager
Buffy the Vampire Slayer

No love for Sliders?
Brucehankins No love for Sliders?
Damn!! Memories of old times! It was stellar in its time.
I also have to cast my vote for Sunshine. I'm not usually a huge Sci-Fi fan (and it's rather mild Sci-Fi anyway) but that film has left a lasting impression on me.

brent it was always the premise that floored me: nuke the sun in hopes of jump-starting it. Wow.
Scientifically the idea is stupid, but the movie is awesome
Dark City: remember Mickey Rourke the most.
What!? He is not in the movie
Empress Furiosa is Charlize Theron. I'm surprised she isn't coming back.
I think because it is a prequel about young Furiosa.
Anya Taylor-Joy was awesome in The Queen's Gambit
brent I forgot Dark City was the amnesia guy and Keifer was in it too. Also excellent.
and Jennifer Connelly. I think you need to rewatch it
I think I was thinking of Sin City maybe? Which is also weird and good.
Yep, but it is not sci-fi
Prequel with ATJ
. I'm in. Goerge Miller directing I wonder?
Yep! And the next movie:
Thank you for the info, Solarmass. Yes, I remember Jennifer Connelly!
I will leave this thread tonight with a sci-fi (I think) movie that also left a haunting and gunky impression on my noggin.
brent I really liked it but I also understand it's a meme in itself to like it. The honest trailer really does sum it up well.
