No love for Sliders?
Brucehankins No love for Sliders?
Damn!! Memories of old times! It was stellar in its time.
I also have to cast my vote for Sunshine. I'm not usually a huge Sci-Fi fan (and it's rather mild Sci-Fi anyway) but that film has left a lasting impression on me.

brent it was always the premise that floored me: nuke the sun in hopes of jump-starting it. Wow.
Scientifically the idea is stupid, but the movie is awesome
Dark City: remember Mickey Rourke the most.
What!? He is not in the movie
Empress Furiosa is Charlize Theron. I'm surprised she isn't coming back.
I think because it is a prequel about young Furiosa.
Anya Taylor-Joy was awesome in The Queen's Gambit
brent I forgot Dark City was the amnesia guy and Keifer was in it too. Also excellent.
and Jennifer Connelly. I think you need to rewatch it
I think I was thinking of Sin City maybe? Which is also weird and good.
Yep, but it is not sci-fi
Prequel with ATJ
. I'm in. Goerge Miller directing I wonder?
Yep! And the next movie:
Thank you for the info, Solarmass. Yes, I remember Jennifer Connelly!
I will leave this thread tonight with a sci-fi (I think) movie that also left a haunting and gunky impression on my noggin.
brent I really liked it but I also understand it's a meme in itself to like it. The honest trailer really does sum it up well.
Brucehankins Solarmass
Liked it but unsettling. I like that a movie can have that effect on me. I love that a movie can, actually. M.Night never did anything on this scale. But I always wondered if DD was a con job in some way.
Can't explain.
CC'ed you both to say I just plugged in headphones and will watch this review.
Honest trailer in a hip way but seemed to dismiss the whole movie at every level. The idea of time travel and parallel universes (Donnie Darko's premise) is glossed over in this review. The unconventional way both those concepts were expressed in that movie was its selling point for me at the time, but like I said, I never had to re-discover it again.
Same with Butterfly Effect in that regard.

brent Butterfly Effect
The Butterfly Effect (2004) with Ashton Kutcher was pretty cool.
I just plugged in headphones and will watch this review.
There is also Mad Max: Fury Road Honest Trailer! (One of my favorite Honest Trailer)
