I am looking for several software.
First for the creation and editing of the website. I was using NVU and Kompozer but the software center cannot find it.
For the photo, gimp and Inksape are always the best?

I'm looking for an antivirus too, I was using avast but typing "virus" or "avast" in software center it can't find anything. It is for scanning external drives or windows file in case.

Inkscape is a vector graphics program, so not really for photos. GIMP/Glimpse and Krita are good options.

I've used ClamAV for this purpose but it's not in the repositories. Might be worth a look to see if you can install from source, snap, flatpak or what have you.

synth-ruiner In Solus I trust right now. I griped about it (AV) a long time ago. Then I just had to satisfy my curiousity last year, and installed Clam from snap (I think), and ran it. I was sorry I did. 50-60 something false positives. I researched all the flags and was unable to credibly establish/prove any threat or vulnerability on my Solus. Was relieved.
edit for context: I was less worried about solus and more worried about any carelessness on my part.

brent yeah, it's unnecessary for linux but I can see why you might want something like that if you're sharing files with Windows machines regularly. probably a bit overkill though, just let the windows machines handle themselves.

synth-ruiner Agreed, and I've never thought of that when I use my work USB on W10 at work, and then bring it home. Thank you for making me aware of that.
