Hello. I have searched on this forum for this problem and found answers recommending to reinstall solus. I'm just curious why do we even get this problem? I installed solus yesterday on my friend's PC but the latter cannot find any wifi connection. What could be the cause of such a problem? Thanks.
"no wifi adapter found" problem explanation?
What is your wifi card? Most likely, you need to find the drivers. this is usually a problem with broadcom. Try install 'broadcom-sta-current'.
inxi -n # to determine your wifi adapter
sudo eopkg install broadcom-sta-current # if wifi is broadcom

So...I'm having this issue, many reboots and reinstallations from drivers and still nothing. When using inxi -n
I get the following:
Device-2: Qualcomm Atheros QCA6174 802.11ac Wireless Network Adapter
driver: ath10k_pci
