brent Ephebopus what a hurricane force song, still. someone on youutube stripped the band out of this track, just her. just as goosebumpy.
Staudey Solarmass Wow, for some reason this finally made it click in my mind and connect Yoko Kanno from the "Record of Lodoss War" theme with the Yoko Kanno from the Cowboy Bebop tracks. I'm such a dummy!
Solarmass synth-ruiner obsessed with this song at the moment. Oh! This is the right thread for such songs 👍️ very intimate and otherworldly I like the sound. Thanks for sharing 🙂
brent @synth-ruiner I see the obsession. heard it 3X. It's minimalism. Same unobtrusive keyed riff. And then she quietly paints/layers around it. No other instruments. It's awesome. Less always more to me. edit: reminds me so much of a much less-polished attempt at what oklau did here except it was twenty(?) years ago by joan osborne called 'lumina.'
WetGeek brent Grooves very hard and thom yorke mostly invisible. that's how I radiohead At first, I thought this was meant to illustrate the philosophical idea of "order from chaos," but it never quite made it that far. 😀
brent WetGeek very much so, like free jazz I think. the only person steady was the bassist. the rest was a lovely trainwreck
