How do I get the Live Session working/Installing Solus

Hi there,
After a long time I wanted to go back to Solus, now with a new PC.
I have troubles to get to the Solus live session from USB to install it.
It stops booting after starting the Accounts Service. So I changed into tty2 and logged in as root.
I think this has to do with my NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 TI graphics card, so I wanted to update the iso and, if needed, install the nvidia-glx-driver-current but I had no Internet connection, neither ethernet nor wifi.
I tried the guide from the user @kaktuspalme , but with no succes.
So my questions are as follow

How do I enable Internet via terminal?
Is this going to work with the current Solus 4.1 after an update/driver install or should I wait until 4.2?

You can control NetworkManager on the cli using "nmcli". I can't give you the exact steps because I never had to add connections manually. But it will work only if your wifi or ethernet chip is supported by the kernel. But "nmcli d" should show you the devices.

I got my wifi up and running, updated solus and installed nvidia-glx-driver.
systemctl start lightdm -f didn't do anything, not even an error message.
startx produces the infamous "(EE) no screens found (EE)" After I was before asked to specify the BusID of my card (2b:00:0) in usr/share/X11/xorg-config.d/10-nvidia.conf

Do you have a suggestion for me?

Goldhahn back before solus 4.1 i had a similar problem, iirc the solution was to do as u did, connect to net and install nvidia drivers and then try all the tty's a few times until one would suddnely work, then install (and then reboot go through it all again installing nvidia in tty)

edit: also try sudo systemctl restart lightdm

Goldhahn How did you install the nvidia driver?

sudo eopkg it nvidia-glx-driver-common nvidia-glx-driver-current nvidia-glx-driver-32bit would be the way to go (with the linux-current kernel)
Also in case you didn't, do a FULL update (all packages, not just a selection) with sudo eopkg up and restart.

Staudey I am trying to install Solus. I don't have Solus on my machine. A reboot would reset anything as you can probably imagine.
Yes, I did a full upgrade and I tried nvidia-glx-driver and nvidia-glx-driver-current, as well as the packages you mentioned.
