I was (maybe lots of readers) conditioned to the the old windows ctrl-alt-del task manager which was a short list, to the point, of active users and processes, and I was never quite comfortable about it.
What Linux offers instead is so much more comprehensive if you understand what you are seeing (what is using which program and why etc etc) and I don't even get it all to be honest. But I understand better the interaction of services and applications and internals in Solus/linux compared to the first model I mentioned.
