Hi all,
New user of Solus still in learning mode via Vbox setup under Linux Mint. I'm from The Netherlands, The Hague precisely and im using Linux since 2007 (Ubuntu 7.04 version). After years of using Ubuntu up till 10.04 skipping Ubuntu for that horrible Unity desktop (kept on crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and.....) in favour for Linux Mint (at this moment running Mint 20 with Cinnamon desktop). But on my system the Cinnamon desktop (which honestly is one of my favourite desktop environment) feels like dragging a dead horse around. It feels slow and sluggish, even with all desktop decorations and stuff turned off. So, no trying out Solus and i must say, i love the Bugdie desktop!
But i found a glitch, after installing Solus in a Vbox setup and after a restart and getting all the latest updates i noticed something weird in the menu (see screenshot). All language in the menu is Dutch except for the menu entry "System settings". So now i have 2 entry's which are basically the same: "System settings" and " Systeemgereedschap" (systeemgereedschap = system settings or system tools depending how you translate it and use it). Although it doesn't kill me, it just looks sloppy to me.
So, my question is, is this by accident or is it a glitch which can be resolved? I hope i can find the answer here.
Many thanks in advance!
