Hi folks...I buy new laptop (Asus TUF Gaming fx506) and the solus install not working because the kernel...how fix it? The solus 4.2 coming the new kernet but when? thanx

soth64 It's coming when it's coming. As far as I know there's nothing blocking the new ISO, but as there have been some issues with the new kernel, it would be preferred to have them fixed first.

A new Solus release is planned and effectively ready pending resolution of numerous 5.10.x issues, primarily around DisplayPort and AMD hardware (namely dcn20-related code). I worked with some of our community members to try to validate some fixes, however those didn't resolve the issues. I've been tracking a bunch of changes in drm-tip and on the drm/amd gitlab issue tracker, as well as trying to bisect the issues myself (which seemed to start around 5.7). Hoping Greg will get out a more compelling 5.10.x after the holidays, and maybe changes in drm-tip get merged in instead of them waiting for 5.11.

stalebrim one more things..how many people use the displayport and how many the simple hdmi...now i installed hungaryan blackpanther os with 5.6 kernel then my tuf laptop booted, but bumblebbe and optimus not running corretly..after few days an some personally interaction, the new 5.10 kernel is ready for instll, and new optimus manager too...now my asus tuf fx506 running perfectly...
