jrobinson52 I already have locally a working php 7.4 package. But if you want to do it I would send you my package.yml if you are interested.
For the moment I have some "questions" regarding some configure options in the php build process which I want to solve before I send the package for review.

jrobinson52 If you look at the package.yml of the actual php 5.7 package you see for example "--with-iconv=shared" What does shared mean? Does it do anything?
If I look here for example https://www.php.net/manual/en/iconv.installation.php there's no shared option explained.

@zoonim116 Thanks for the link. Unfortunately it tells only how to build it but not what options you have when building it.

Edit: Ok, looking at the generated package I probably got it. =shared creates a seperate .so file for the php extension. Without it is compiled into the PHP binary it seems.

You are using the solus build system? Then you have to do sudo make local . I'll probably finish my packages later today if you can wait.
