Endless DE-ssert | The Roundup #17
Nice. BTW: How can i remove an application from the budgie dock? Drag and drop does not work and just seems to try and copy it to the desktop.
L0g4n Right click in the icon and click the star button, it'll unfavorite the pinned application. If it isn't pinned, then it's a currently running app, in which case you just close the app.
Thanks, that worked!
Sync underway.
how I feel updating Solus:
OK, I read the whole thing. Now I know why drag and drop is disabled.
"We’re aiming to introduce the ability to choose between single and double-click options for launching items for the big 1.0 release, and adding drag & drop support in 1.1"
I'm just happy you are bringing it back in time. Look forward to it. I can't think of a function I use more, as far as mousing.

Waiting on kernel 5.10 to be released. Last paragraph if you don't want to read it all.

Really smooth update on my machine. Everything's good so far. Thanks to the team... again.
Am I imagining thing or is Gnome using less RAM now?
ycooreman Ram usage has definitely gone down in 3.38.
When we gone have a new iso up to date ?
Antoine Certainly not before kernel version 5.10.1 gets released. The current kernel is outdated and the devs don't want to release an iso with an old kernel. The problem is that starting with kernel 5.7 there have been NVMe issues which were only recently fixed and will be part of the 5.10 kernel release. Then the team usually waits until at least the first point release of the kernel so Solus users don't have to deal with bugs that get discovered after the inital release.
Of course that is only one of the factors delaying the iso release, but it's a lower bound for when a new iso can realistically be expected.
