FrozenOrchestra Hi, I recently started using Solus Budgie and set up a bottom panel as a dock but the icons are very small. For reference I'm using a 2560x1080 21:9 29" monitor. If I set my scaling to 200% everything else is way too big(fractional scaling please), and changing the dock size doesn't affect icons. Is there some way to scale app icons and I'm just being silly or what? Thanks.
JoshStrobl It scales at fixed points. But I'd suggest using xrandr scale setting, it's what I do on my 4k monitor at the moment. There's no real reason for the Gtk folks to make fractional scaling only available under Wayland, but that's the decision they've gone with.
JoshStrobl FrozenOrchestra What I do: I have a .xprofile file in my home directory and added it as a command via Budgie Desktop Settings -> Autostart. This is the file contents, you can tweak yours and change DP-0 if needed by looking via xrandr. xrandr --output DP-0 --scale 0.75x0.75
