Problem installing 'rtl8192eu' driver

Hi there. Im new at Solus and i would like to commend the developers for the excellent work. By far Solus is being one of my best experiences.

So, i have a TL WN823N (V3) device for acces the internet via wi-fi and in Ubuntu i use this driver in the title of this post. Its source is this one.

In Ubuntu i used to install it via make and then make install, everything run and install fine. On Solus, when i run make, it appears a different entry on the end of the terminal, and when i try make install, it says:

install -p -m 644 8192eu.ko /lib/modules/4.20.16-112.current/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/
/sbin/depmod -a 4.20.16-112.current

And thats it. It doesn't look like that it has installed. Even when i reboot and see on lshw -c network, the generic driver still there. What sould i do?

Please provide the full output of the compile, use pastebin if needed.

Consider that I already have the developer (those dev tools) package installed.

Lots of warnings but it doesn't seem to have failed.

Justin I guess that the system.devel doesn't have all tools needed to build this driver. Debian build essentials must be more complete than Solus sys.devel, that's why it does not install properly

leohns Certainly seems (from my limited knowledge) that the .ko is generated: /home/leonardo/rtl8192eu-linux-driver/8192eu.ko

Install works but it doesn't look like it's the right kernel, we haven't had 4.20 for a while. Can you please update and try again.

Also what does lsmod | grep -i 8192eu show?

Justin this specific command doesn't show anything. I recently discovered that there is a wifi module already installed that is 'rtl8192cu' and it is compatible with my device, but i also can not activate it through modprobe.
