I have a Thinkpad T480 with an "OK" screen I'm considering to swap out for a better alternative.
It has the 1920x1080 px resolution and is not all too bright which is a common feature of those Thinkpad screens.
Now, I don't mind that too much as I'm working mainly indoors but if I wanted to find out what alternative screens I should be looking for for my current laptop's screen how would I do that?
I presume I need to find out
- the precise screen model number
- the number of pins of the connector
- the screen's brightness (xyz nits).
What can I do to find out these factors without having to take anything apart?
I'm not in a rush, everything is working fine (especially my fantastic OS!), so I can take my time.
Living in Germany and willing to buy internationally.
Thanks for your help!
