I just built my new pc with the following specs:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
- Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming B550M Plus WiFi
- GPU: Radeon RX 5600 XT
Firstly, I installed an Ubuntu 20.04 based distro because I needed to get some things done, and everything worked fine but the ethernet adaptor (Realtek RTL 8125b 2.5 GHz), for which I had to manually install the driver from https://www.realtek.com/en/component/zoo/category/network-interface-controllers-10-100-1000m-gigabit-ethernet-pci-express-software.
Now that I have time, I want to install Solus, which I always use as my daily driver However, I can't get the Live USB to boot, it shows the first menu, I select "Install Solus 4.1", and then the screen goes black and I can't do anything.
EDIT: I have tested if the Live USB was corrupted in another pc, and it is not.
I'm guessing it is because the hardware I'm using is newer than the ISO and therefore not supported at that time (?).
Can someone help me get Solus installed?
Thanks in advance =D
