There are only two aspects of Solus which aren't open source:
- Our ISO generation tooling. This used to be open but was abused by third-parties, so we needed to move it internally.
- Some infrastructure tooling only useful and necessary for those which adequate permissions to actually access various parts of the infra (whether that be the conduit APIs for creating repos on Phabricator, to SSH access to servers), e.g. our build wrapper which runs on the build server, our git repo creation utility, and our tooling for creating solbuild images (rarely used).
Everything else is either on the GetSolus organization, budgie-desktop (on old GH org), or probably not our code to begin with but rather an open source upstream (whether that is the kernel or your favorite text editor). So I have no idea what @seagle meant by "you can't", though this is certainly one helluva necroed post 😛
