I experience the following on different Solus computers with different bluethooth headsets:
When initially pairing a bluetooth headset it is using A2DP. But when it reconnects it will use HSP (very bad mono quality).
It's not possible to switch to A2DP, I have to manually disconnect and reconnect the device.
After manually reconnecting I am able to use A2DP again.

I have been trying several things, and it doesn't appear to be a Solus issue but a Linux problem in general. Most of the workarounds I found seem to be distribution specific though.

Is this a known issue or bug? Should I file this t https://dev.getsol.us?

Can you think of a workaround like removing the HSP/HFP audio profile altogether?

im having issues with bluetooth audio on wireless devices, the audio lags so bad but works fine on speakers

addy3494 Have same problem with my laptop. I have to manually switch to A2DP with my stereo speakers. They should work on this. Actually I have found out that HSP/HFP is for mic profile whenever mic has to work it switches to this profile leaving A2DP. Correct me if I'm wrong.
