I've tried this printer on manjaro and ubuntu and neither can support the scan button. I've tried scanner drivers shown here https://support.brother.com/g/b/downloadlist.aspx?c=us_ot&lang=en&prod=dcpl2550dw_us&os=128 (for ubuntu) and it did not get the scan button working. I've always had to use simple scan and execute the scan command through that on my computer to get the printer to scan.
Can anyone provide feedback on this model printer/scanner on Solus? Thanks!
