I have no problem to use Solus Plasma with various Bluetooth devices. For powerful audio I use Samsung Level Box Pro Bluetooth speaker.
It's not enough just to connect (to pair) computer with BT device. It is also necessary to tell the audio player which audio device it must use for audio output.
VLC, for example, recognizes on its own that external BT audio device is available, and automagically switches audio output to it.
I use SMPlayer to reproduce everything. SMPlayer doesn't recognize automatically that external BT audio device is available. So I must redirect audio to Samsung Level Box Pro by hand using SMPlayer menu:
Menu > Audio > Send audio to > pulse (bluez_sink.nn_nn_nn_nn_nn_nn.a2dp_sink)
As SMPlayer covers all my needs, I don't know how other media players behave in such a situation.
Edit: For even more powerful audio I use Samsung Soundbar 600. "600" stands for 600 Wt output audio power 🙂 . This device connects to Solus Plasma thru Bluetooth as well.
