Boxmaker Hello all. I love to use Solus on my laptop but on my gaming PC I cannot get it to show up on my gaming monitor which is is a display port only monitor. I have a gtx 760. For whatever reason its not showing up on it. Is there a fix for this?? Thanks
Boxmaker viyoriya Hello. Thanks. But can you break it down a step further for a new person to linux? When you say dl arandr from repo do you mean type the line in the terminal to dl? May you share that line? Thank You much. I tried to find info but couldn't.
viyoriya viyoriya sorry about that install from repo sudo eopkg it arandr (run this in terminal ) and you can find arandr application in Application menu.
Brucehankins Arandr should be available in the software center. It's a GUI for the xrandr which is CLI. You should be able to install xrandr or arandr with sudo eopkg it xrandr or sudo eopkg it arandr as long as it's in the repo, but I haven't tested it.
Boxmaker Hello. I tried downloading the programs listed. It actually got farther but after I put in the password the screen went blank again. I ended up having to go with another distro which gave the option to load nVidia drivers from the install and I am now using Linux with this displayport monitor with my GTX 760. I'd like to go back to solus but I still can't get it to work with DP.
