algent Thanks for replying. I am able to set a non-solus background using the method you're using, but the problem with this method is that it will be the same background for each user. What I'm trying to do is have a different background for each user (the one they set as their desktop background) which I think setting draw-user-backgrounds=true
should do but only works with solus backgrounds.
I think the reason it still works for you when setting draw-user-backgrounds=true
is because it just falls back to the image set in background=
. Does it still display your user background if you change the background=/home/algent/Pictures/Wallpaper/stones_sea_shore_119815_1920x1080.jpg
to a solus background (background=/usr/share/backgrounds/solus/AerialDesert.jpg
)?
