Girtablulu I mean it's not like we have a buildable latte-dock inside the repo where you can have a look at the builddeps https://dev.getsol.us/source/latte-dock/browse/master/package.yml, even simpler would be using the package.yml and work with git as the source so you can remove it simple anytime (just rename the package) just be aware, the git version doesn't ship with language translation files you need to add them by yourself if you want to

Justin Girtablulu Nothing about compiling or git sources is easy for new users. But I would certainly use this path as I understand packaging.
Indeed once I get a version built I'll make it into an eopkg, that was my original plan.

From the builddeps i see pkgconfig(xcb-event), but the package xcb-event doesn't exist. Not sure what the pkgconfig indicates...
