FLATPAK question

Feeling like a fool. New to all this flat/snap stuff. Just browsing.

I am unable to actually...umm...find any package about anything...
umm...do I like need to install a repo or something?
How would I do that?

From the http://flathub.org website under Quick Setup:

flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo

That is all I've had to do to be up and running, as the two files flatpak and xdg-desktop-portal-gtk were preinstalled in Solus. Hope this helps.

I DO, however, remember this working OOB once (i.e., I did searches)...must've unbinded or manual add is the new norm.

Flatpak doesn't come with a repository enabled, there is no "official" repository for it like snaps.

The most popular (from my limited experience) is Flathub.
