Hello people. I'm pretty new to linux. I tried ubuntu for some time, but you could say I failed and my system got very confusing and unstable. I decided to try Solus, looked nicer and good for me you can do almost everything with GUI. After some problems with the installation which I managed with the help of former forum posts I finally made it.
I installed it on a complete SSD and activated LVM because I liked the idea of being flexible on the "partitions" (I'll just stick to that for now).
Now I'm not sure if I just don't know where to look, but it seems there is no GUI for using LVM. Is this true? As I said I'm pretty new to Linux and I'm not sure if I could manage this (to me) even newer LVM stuff in the Terminal.
So to make things short in the end:
Is there a GUI for LVM on SOLUS?
Can LVM be managed in GParted?
If not, would it be possible to install another Distro (which has a GUI for it) besides Solus on this LVM drive and manage it from there?
If I want to "deactivate" LVM I'd have to install Solus again, right?
Thank you so much for your help!
Kind regards
