Is there a way to use my PC running on Solus Budgie as a Wifi repeater? I have 2 wifi sticks, so that one can work as client and other as hotspot. Also, it isn't an issue for me even if the new network's SSID isn't same as my original one.
Here's the output of iwconfig

$ iwconfig

    A hardware repeater is going to be far easier, doesn't require a power hungry PC to be on and will work better.

    devmrfitz You can do it from the networkmanager-connections-editor.
    Make one of your sticks client and the other hotspot and set shared connection with other computers the ipv4 settings

    Edit
    assumed that the client stick takes internet from your isp and acts as receiver and the hotspot as transmmiter.
    If you have internet via ethernet you can make both sticks hotspots with different ssid.
    It is very important to check first if yous sticks can operate in both modes as receiver and as transmmiter.
    there is a command to check that but i canot remember it. i think i found it on the arch wiki when i set up mine
    laptop's build-in wifi as transmiter.
