Hi! I can't use spotify since this morning. My system is up to date but when I want to launch spotify, I get a black screen, which let me do nothing. See the picture below:

I tried launching it in a terminal but I am getting this error:
spotify: /usr/lib/libcurl-gnutls.so.4: no version information available (required by spotify)
/usr/share/spotify/spotify: /usr/lib/libcurl-gnutls.so.4: no version information available (required by /usr/share/spotify/spotify)
/proc/self/exe: /usr/lib/libcurl-gnutls.so.4: no version information available (required by /proc/self/exe)
/proc/self/exe: /usr/lib/libcurl-gnutls.so.4: no version information available (required by /proc/self/exe)

So I decided to check the libcurl-gnutls.so.4 file and yes, it exists in the directory... I really don't know what I am missing here. Thank you for trying to help me.

EDIT: I missed click and choose the FEEDBACK option. If someone could remove it plz... Thanks!

Getta91 Probably you should check if there is a broken package. That file is part of curl-gnutls.
Same problem was reported in reddit, I don't use spotify not sure if this problem is related with that in the link.
Searching on google you will find that this problem was reported several times.
Since it was working before, make sure if your packages are not broken.

I see those errors too, but Spotify still works normally. There is a short period after start when everything is black but it soon launches like normal.

Have you tried updating? Maybe you aren't on the newest version and something on the server side broke it?
(note that third party apps don't update with the rest of the system packages, you have to do it manually)

Staudey Oh I didn't know that update stuff. I'll try this and then come back to you. Thanks for your help!

So I tried it, and I still have this issue. I also did a sudo eopkg it --reinstall curl-gnutls curl-gnutls-32bit.

Hmm, maybe deleting the cache may help?

      rm -rf ~/.cache/spotify

First question, how did you install Spotify, there's a snap, flatpak and it's available in 3rd Party so that will determine how we proceed.

Justin I was using the 3rd party one. I finally fixed my problem by using the flatpak one! ^^
Thanks you all for your support!
