Question to the Developers : How difficult is it, to maintain and develop Solus?

Hey dear developers of Solus,
I often wonder how difficult or time consuming it is to keep Solus running and develop new features?
One of the most read "criticisms" when watching a Solus review is, that the Solus team is quite small.
I do not know anything about how to maintain a Linux distribution, so i have absolutely no idea of how much time it takes, to upgrade new packages, etc. and test all this properly. I read that @JoshStrobl started his own business and is reducing his "Solus time", which I understand and I wish him only the best for his Enterprise, on the other hand he is the Experience Lead of Solus and very committed.
Is there a way to support Solus or help the Maintainers?
I would gladly donate money, unfortunately this is not possible at the moment.

I've been using Solus Budgie since 2018 most of the time, and I think you do an amazingly good job with Solus! 🙂

It's a lot of work tbh lol. But we are happy to do it, no matter how long it takes. We work on Solus because no other distro works for us. I've been happy to see the team grow over the past few years and welcome contributions for anyone interested in helping out.
