I was wondering if there is any way that I can install Bricscad on Solus? I bought Bricscad 18 and am using it daily.

Can't download without an account and I'm not signing up for one. What download options does it offer?

Justin If you want to download for yourself it will give you 30 days try and the options are: Ubuntu, Fedora, OpenSuse and Custom Installation.

neb I am really eager to see if this can be installed on Solus OS.

Downloading the version for Ubuntu and then extracting the content of the contained data.tar.xz archive to the same directories in your Solus installation (/opt /usr and /var) was enough to get it to launch from the terminal. I played around with it for a bit and it crashed my session, which might be an incompatibility with Solus or just a general issue with the software 😃

Staudey Thanks. So that means that I might not be able to run Bricscad on Solus, right?

Well, you might, can't hurt to try. Maybe I just happened to run into a weird bug.
