Accented chars

I don't know if I should post it here because I'm using Ubuntu Budgie but if I get it right, this version of Ubuntu is shipped with Budgie, that are developed by the great developers here.

I'm having trouble setting up my keyboard for accented chars, specifically this one: ç.
My keyboard is a standard US International keyboard but I'm in Brazil and I must use accented chars like á, é, ã and ç. ç is obtained by typing ' followed by the c letter. Right now it only works in VSCode.

In other apps like Chrome, Chromium, Firefox I get this: ć

All the other accented chars works good system wide.

My current keyboard layout is "English (EUA, intern. alt.)" and the language is "Portuguese (Brasil)"

Can someone help me?

marqu3s You were right in your first sentence. This is an Ubuntu issue.

I'm not familiar with your keyboard layout but you might need to set up a compose key. for me ç is Compose+c+,

This support forum is for Solus and accented characters do in fact work under Budgie. Like @Justin mentioned, this sounds like an Ubuntu issue.

As such, marking this as solved and locking. If your issue persists, I suggest reaching out to the Ubuntu Budgie folks on their own support forum, or any provided by Ubuntu themselves.
