I use tutanota only. used to have posteo account and/or outlook. but outlook when I need to look at it, I do it on the web or my phone. Yeh, and Tutanota has their own client, so.

Default web interfaces and apps for my personal email accounts and for work email I use Gnome Online Accounts + Evolution for managing my emails/calendar per
Though I use Sky for chat/meetings instead of pidgin as my Skype for Business alternative

Evolution ´cause this is the only mail client easily connected to iCloud services (contacts, calendars, reminders).

As experiment, I've switched for a month from Evolution to Thunderbird. Not bad, all email accounts/calendars work as expected (IMAP, Office 365, Google). Interface is slightly better than outdated Evolution.
I love the 'Unified inboxes', good search tool and separate tabs for chosen messages. Thumbs up for Thunderbird!

And after reading this thread, I've tried Geary (like it for simplicity and low resource usage). I've previously used Mailspring some (but I have misgivings with it) and usually use Thunderbird as daily driver. I'm a bit torn now if I want to make the switch to Geary as my default mail client...I'm thinking yes though. More is less in many ways if your needs aren't complex.

I have switched to Thunderbird few weeks earlier to use my iCloud stuffs. Evolution made an error to check my accounts (mail & calendar).
Thunderbird is ok

I use Evolution, 90% of the time for it's calendar which I find very useful and integrates well into Gnome shell so I never miss any appointments or reminders which has saved me a lot. Email wise I'm a basic user, so it get's the job done just fine, no complaints.

For years thunderbird. Among other things, because you can make a backup relatively quickly (with 7 email accounts take a while to copy). And this backup can be copied to any OS and works.
On the other hand, thunderbird often zips around because of updates. Currently there are problems with me because of the language package. Is considered obsolete and is therefore disabled. So again everything in English.
Out of curiosity, and related to the subject purely by chance, yesterday times installed evolution.
I like it. However, I can not import anything from thunderbird, or export. So konten and boxing, etc. and manually transferred 8 accounts ... let see.

Marcus If you want something similar to thunderbird, but more lightweight, I suggest you try this one. Been using it a year and it's an absolute pleasure.

Thunder-Thunder-Thunderbird! Although I'd personally prefer their branding pay homage to messenger pigeons, à la Icedove. 🕊️ I did recently spot alpine in the repository though, and that hit me right in the nostalgia.
