kef71 Hi everyone. After the latest kernel update (5.5.7-150) my bluetooth mouse stopped working. Rolling back to the previous release (5.5.6-149) solves it. Anyone else with the same problem? I'm using a Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile Mouse 3600 on an Asus UX305CA laptop.
kef71 Justin I only have a bluetooth mouse so unfortunately I can't tell. Is there some log file I could provide for you?
kef71 Justin There have been a Bluetooth change in the upstream changelog: commit 11e485d8f83fbe465d480dd80951cde9aebff619 Author: Alan Stern <stern@rowland.harvard.edu> Date: Fri Jan 31 10:39:26 2020 -0500 USB: hub: Don't record a connect-change event during reset-resume This might be the issue? thosol Great!
kef71 Justin Sorry, forgot about the phone. Never used bluetooth on it before... Yes, the phone works with both kernels. Fun fact, when the mouse is dead and I connect the phone, the mouse start working too. (5.5.7-150 kernel)
kef71 A new bios was available so after the update the mouse is working with the new kernel. Sorry for the inconvenience. I think this thread can be closed. Thanks Justin.
