A question about default font.

Hello,

My desktop environment is KDE Plasma.
I have set 'Fira Comp' as the fixed font in the system settings.

However, this change seems doesn't work.
For example, when I view some code in browser, the font of code is also 'Hack', the source default font of Solus.

Fonts in browsers are set independently from fonts in DE. For example, in Firefox they are set in:

Preferences --> General --> Fonts and Colors --> Advanced... --> Fonts for (select one by one all Writing Systems you use)

and for each single Writing System set Proportional, Serif, Sans-serif, Monospace fonts.

To match Fira Comp font in Plasma, the Monospace font in Firefox should be set to Fira Comp as well - for the Writing System used by the page with code you're browsing.

I have set Fira Comp as the editor font of my VSCode.
However, the font 'Hack' is also used in dialog.

Photonico Again, likely the application overriding system fonts somewhere. Many applications do it by default sadly.

Justin I think vscode is not related to font 'Hack'.

Visual Studio Code uses Electron, which is utilizing gconf and gsettings schemas, you need to modify the values using dconf-editor. Or the easier way is just changing your VS Code's font via their own settings, takes longer than me writing this post.
