Microsoft Fonts not appearing in OnlyOffice

I downloaded OnlyOffice as a Flatpak package, because I don't really like LibreOffice. Seeing that the preinstalled fonts in OnlyOffice weren't the ones I wanted, I installed Microsoft fonts on my computer (following this tutorial: https://www.fosslinux.com/1387/how-to-install-microsoft-true-type-fonts-in-solus.htm). I opened up GNOME font viewer to confirm that the fonts were actually installed, and sure enough, they were there. So I opened up OnlyOffice, but I didn't find the fonts that I just installed. How do I get the fonts to appear in the fonts list in OnlyOffice?

Any help would be really appreciated.

Looks like this issue is not specific to Solus. The work-around is to copy fonts into the Flatpak run-time directory

Can you explain how to do this? I'm kind of a newbie to Linux.

Flatpak seems to need a portal to the system fonts, read only.

also there is a solus 3P install. I did this for the coveted TNR font...

sudo eopkg bi --ignore-safety https://raw.githubusercontent.com/getsolus/3rd-party/master/desktop/font/mscorefonts/pspec.xml sudo eopkg it mscorefonts*.eopkg;sudo rm mscorefonts*.eopkg

your source's commands are similar to solus' commands but different. use solus's install command for ms core fonts.
worked for me anyway. I'd uninstall all that stuff, reboot, and try solus. my 2 cents.

brent I already have the fonts installed and they work fine in LibreOffice. My issue is how to get them to work in OnlyOffice.
