Budgie in the beginning, but .. It's actually Plasma now. I've always avoided KDE, it always felt slow and clunky, no matter the distro, but Solus Plasma is really, really snappy, in a way I didn't think KDE could be. That seems to be limited to Solus, though, so kudos to the Solus team.
