Budgie for me! I actually finally took the plunge and tried this distro. After I did a bit of research and found out it originated from Ireland, I had to give it a try. I had a friend that gave me an old netbook and was looking to install a distro on it and wipe Windows 8. Since we are both enamored with Ireland, it was like, yeah, let's give it a go. I have used all the other desktop environments on other distros and wanted to use the distro responsible for this desktop.
I honestly can't describe this distro/desktop. For me, it's just perfect. It's simple and smart. It looks fantastic! Easy to customize and theme. I installed it on my main and use it as my daily driver. I gave the other laptop to my nephew and was just tickled with how it looked and felt plus the touchscreen worked without a hitch. He couldn't be happier. He took to the operating system like a fish to water. He was able to navigate and was up and running with his apps in minutes. First time linux user. It blows anything I've used before out of the water.
Thank you for making this and all the effort that has gone into this. Playing Celtic music on an operating system originating in Ireland is just such a cool thing for me. Now, if we could get the mmo Celtic Heroes on linux, wow!
