Terminator config file missing

I am in need of assistance with locating the Terminator config file. I believe it is missing and I need to change the font away from the double-spaced font. Konsole opens with a single-spaced font.

I looked in "_/.config" ( I added the quotes in an attempt to get the tilde character to show ) but there is no entry for terminator.

Terminator config is automagically created after something has been changed in Terminator Preferences:

~/.config/terminator/config
