Oh, I forgot restart Budgie step (couldn't edit this to original post)
- nohup budgie-panel --replace&
Justin I just assumed he's using Budgie but is mutter used in every flavor and/or same dconf/gsettings?
With the tutorial I provided I was successful with binding the PrtScr to gnome-terminal. I'm saying this because like I told in my tutorial, I disabled ALL screenshot binds in normal keyboard settings when trialing and still (dat damn button) it was taking screenshots, even Budgie restarted.. Just for heads up as at least Ctrl+Print & Alt+Print is already defined in /com/solus-project/budgie-wm/ so he might not have luck binding at least with those!
With this being said I'm just happy I can now:
- Super+PrtScr to take full screen shot
- L_Ctrl + PrtScr to take screen shot of selected area
- L_Alt + PrtScr to take screen shot of current window
Is this actually a bug that you cannot rebind PrtScr even though you have the option to redefine that key in Gnome Control Panel keyboard settings? Or is it just some "unfinished fix / hack" as at least I found some old bug reports that one time PrtScr was not working at all?
