Fiddling with printer / cups broke cups server

Hello, i just got hp deskjet 2630 printer, printer itself was setup on a windows machine and after few tries it worked well on my solus laptop (printer connected to WiFi). Problem i found was no meter how many copies i asked to print it always prints only one. I looked at print settings and tried to check "save job to file (allows reprinting)". This froze the window for a minute or two and then solus couldn't see the printer.
sudo systemctl status cups-browsed.service
gives following output:

Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/cups-browsed.service; disabled; vendor preset: enabled)
Active: inactive (dead)

I tried re-installing cups and cups-filter but it seems to not have any effect. Printer itself works just fine, but cups server is dead.
Also, eopgk check tells me udisks is broken, but https://discuss.getsol.us/d/3816-udisks-corrupted seems to tell its known and "harmless". Thanks.

It's not the service itself that fails but a dependency -> failed with result 'dependency'
You have to look in the service unit, and search for Requires= and check the status of the service(s) specified there.

PS: You don't need elevated privileges to get the status of a service. Only use sudo when required.

kyrios org.cups.cupsd.dervice is marked with red dot, here: https://superuser.com/questions/490713/arch-linux-cannot-start-cups-service-with-systemd i found this: enable org.cups.cupsd.service, but that doesn't fix anything, even after reboot, previous line is still marked with red dot.

At the end of the rabbit hole: org.cups.cupsd.path and org.cups.cupsd.socket are marked red and both have all dependencies met. Enabling them does nothing.

Issue has been solved, what happened was, when i selected "save job as files" in print settings, cupsd.conf got replaced with a single line "PreserveJobFile yes". I copied cupsd.conf.-default content to the cupsd.conf and everything works fine again. Idk if this happened because that option in printer settings package is buggy or because window then froze and i may have interrupted whatever it was doing when i loged out. Any way, problem fixed.
